Currently at the NMTRC Symposium 2012.. wow, what a lot of information relating to Neuroblastoma. I will write more detail later, but there are some great things happening in the treatment of Neuroblastoma..
I am a husband. A dad. A business owner. My wife's cancer relapsed. We have a 3 year old. Did I mention my kid died of cancer? I write about all of it.
I can't wait to hear all about it, and then share the information myself!!! I'm so excited to hear of the potential for progress in the fight against this vile monster, and to contribute to that progress. Have a great time, both of you! Looking forward to the pendant pics too....

ReplyDeleteJust read a post on Dr. Yael Mosse's findings from her most recent study concerning neuroblastoma and lymphoma. She presented these at the NMTRC Symposium your attending and though the results were slightly better for the lymphoma it's awesome to read about so much progress being made and it sounds like there is definitely hope that soon kids won't have to suffer so much. CHOP is doing some really great stuff with their funding and I can't wait to see what else we can learn over the next few years through this study. I'm crossing my fingers that this will lead to a cure and save hundreds!!! This stuff is really exciting and for the first time in a while I'm filled with hope that a cure isn't a millions years away it's around the corner!
